Job Title: Office Manager

Job Salary: £ 22700 per annum (37.50 hours/week)
Job Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
The candidate must have excellent communication skills in
English both verbal and written and must be familiar with the use of computers
and electronic communication. Minimum 2 years Experience in Shipping &
Logistics (Exports), Banking procedures and use of Accounting Software is
required. Candidate must have knowledge of the Recovered Paper Trade. Must hold
a Bachelor’s Degree.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Interacting interdepartmentally to streamline procedures
and establish work requirements.
Liaising with vendors, government agencies and statutory
authorities in trade.
In charge of follow up procedures from overseas, custom
clearance & local transportation of shipment.
Issuing and follow up of insurance claims and delivery
discrepancies.
Coordinating with various departments such as Booking,
Documentation, Customs of Shipping Lines / Freight Forwarders/ Suppliers.
Arranging collection of material from various Supplier
Depots in UK / Europe / USA.
Managing information flow between the Shipping Line,
Freight Forwarder & Supplier.
Managing overall documentation of all Sale - Purchase
transactions.
Preparing & Issuing Purchase Orders, Customers
Indents, Invoices, Insurance, etc.
Managing complete documentation flow between our offices,
Suppliers, Shipping lines, Banks and Customers.
Filling in forms such as credit applications, and efiling
invoices and correspondence.
Planning Scheduling & Assigning duties &
responsibilities to subordinates
Advising on the handling of all correspondence and
enquiries relating to accounts, sales, statistical and trade data.
